The NEW Chabad of Cary Center of Jewish Life
Western Wake County, like much of the region, is growing fast. As families relocate here to take advantage of the quality of life, the Jewish community in Cary continues to grow. Even with the challenge of limited space, we have achieved so much. Imagine what we can do with a modern and spacious new facility. The planned building on a recently acquired lot is conveniently located in the heart of the Triangle, adjacent to many residential neighborhoods.
Families from all types of Jewish backgrounds will now have a hub for Jewish Life. Innovative programming will provide something for everyone! This is an exciting opportunity to invest in the future of a vibrant and growing Jewish community that will nurture its members for years to come.
What could be more exciting than banding together to create a strong community dedicated to the growth of a joyous Jewish life for our children and for future generations? Together we will build a welcoming and spacious new center where people will be drawn to celebrate, learn, worship, share and create wonderful memories.
Living and thriving within a Jewish community has always been important to me. When I moved to North Carolina 10 years ago, I sought a community that fit with my personality and comfort zone. Yentl the Matchmaker could not have found a better match for me than Chabad, in the shtetl of Morrisville/Cary, where everyone feels a sense of belonging, and where everyone knows your name.— Herb Curkin
Within just a year of our kids being at Hebrew School, and despite COVID, they've learned a tremendous amount about Judaism. Rabbi Israel and Chana are creating strong connections between community members. Although our community is still relatively small, it's growing into a strong community, one in which our children will gain a very strong Jewish identity.— Caroline Nagi
Our project goes way beyond a physical building. Yes, our Hebrew school desperately needs its own classrooms and playground. Yes, it will be awe-inspiring to worship in a proper sanctuary. Yes, it will be wonderful to gather in our own library for discussion and study groups, and to enjoy restaurant night in our social hall. The new building will be simply AMAZING!— Rabbi Yisroel Cotlar, Director
